Halloween can be one of the most exciting times for your children. The following tips will help keep everyone in your family safe this year!
- Dress your child for the weather. Add or take away layers if needed

- Children under the age of 12 should be accompanied by an adult
- Prevent your child from eating any candy until an adult has inspected it
- Use sidewalks when possible
- Don’t visit any houses that are not well lit
- You can place small strips of reflective tape on your child’s costume to help you identify them quickly
- Provide your child with a glowstick necklace for cars to be able to see
- Always be aware of cars, and never let your children run across the street without looking first
